One from the grave...

Here is a unfinished pencil drawing made about a year and a half ago. It was abandoned as I was not happy with the result. The eyes were too large and the cartoon style faces did not seem to fit the bodies. Let me know if you think it is worth reviving...

Hi R.,
I think it's ok: eyes are big but is rather natural in japanese comic style, I only would make the forehead a little bit higher. It happens to me to work on paintingings I had abbandoned more than 3 years ago, Only you know if it's the right time to return to work on it.
ciao, have a nice day.

I'm not an artist and my opinion is that the eyes are great. They draw your attention to the eyes and face. I like this. Go ahead and revive this. I can easily see this as a main character in a comic series. That's how good it is to me.

If you don't want to re-work the heads, cut out the background figures and frame the subtle and elegant blue line study. It has just enough to stand alone.

Please don't put the forehead "a bit higher" like someone gently reccomends you... it will loose its BRUTE, ANIMAL effect, combined with those thick eyebrows and sideburns that Wolverize the sexy looking guy
