Finally got around to making a logo for the profile image. It is supposed to acknowledge the nice and the naughty sides of my personality. Somewhere between the two there is a sort of balance. Anyway, I have nowhere else to host it so I have posted it here to be able to set it as my profile image.
Oil painting by local artist Rudolph Vosser. This is the only piece of original male art by another artist in my possession at the moment. Hopefully I will be able to acquire more original art and start a serious erotic art collection one day. Oil on canvas board, 20 x 25cm.
Unfinished pencil sketch on paper that has been Photoshopped to death by yours truly. Sort of a weird experiment - realistic shading on a cartoon style character. (Click to enlarge)
Another version of the poolboy. Same tan but a bit more detail on the face and some color on the background elements.
It has arrived! It is a thing of true beauty... My precioussssss! If anybody doubts whether there are people who make wishes come true - here is proof. My eternal thanks to the one who made this possible, I am forever grateful. Thank you so much!
Still needs a bit of work...
Pencil sketch of Horus done some time ago. The original drawing has been lost (or stolen) and all that remains is this lousy photo.
How do you write descriptive titles for these drawings without making them sound cheesy? Pencil sketch on A4 paper. (Click to see a larger version)
Just can't stay away from the mythological themes. An elaboration on the previous Hypnos, but this time I wanted to concentrate on the face only, trying to give him more classical and noble features. Completely ignoring any rules about accurate proportions and shading for fear of overworking it (as I often do) - the drawing came out much 'looser". The idea was to make him more magical, like a fleeting image remembered from a dream. (Click to enlarge)
This is an original drawing created by David Crumpler entirely in graphite (pencil) on sturdy, 100 pound bristol board. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. The drawing measures 11" wide by 14" tall. More details here.
Double your viewing pleasure! Don't you just wish you followed your heart and joined the circus when you were younger...
