One from the grave...

Here is a unfinished pencil drawing made about a year and a half ago. It was abandoned as I was not happy with the result. The eyes were too large and the cartoon style faces did not seem to fit the bodies. Let me know if you think it is worth reviving...

Exquisite Drawing Tools

San Francisco artist Agelio Batle's exquisite graphite sculptures are poetic metaphors and functioning drawing tools. Made from carbonaceous graphite (mineral remains of prehistoric plant life) with smudge-resistant compounds and fused into various shapes under intense pressure; all of its surfaces can write. Each sculpture is produced in a limited series. Prices start around $45 and are available at Agelio Batle's ABS Workshop.

Turburam not Torburan

I got the name wrong... No wonder I could not find any information about this artist. A kind reader pointed me in the right direction. Thanks! Turburam is a Mongolian artist... specializing in paper-cuts.

Great Storytelling

My third Harry Bush post in a short while... I suspect I may be getting obsessed. Click on the image to enlarge it and look carefully at the beautifully crafted drawings - great shading and perfect anatomy. In case you missed it like I did the first time, these are not just two drawings of the same dude in different poses. Look carefully at the clues - there is also a story being told of what happened between these two frames.

Quick Like Chicken

Just had to share this. Scanned from a pamphlet found on my car. You have to wonder what the hell the poor chicken did to receive such a bad reputation... the rest is pretty scary also...
